I appreciated the location of the property - away from the hustle and bustle of Baie Beau Vallon - which provides you with a good base to explore the beaches on the southern and western coasts of Mahé, hills in the centre and natural parks/reserves towards the southern bits.   Read more »

If this hotel manages to get their staff to wake up, it could be a great hotel. The location on the beach is great, the rooms are different (in a good way), and the resort is grand. The staff however is not very service minded, and there are too many things that should be attended on this resort for it to get top reviews.   Read more »

It was our honeymoon trip. We didn't felt like it. We had to ask for the "champagne", because they forgot it. There was no special treatment what so ever. Some of the other places offer massage, a free meal, or something else...

We enjoyed the stay in the Meridien very much. The Location is just wonderful. It was what we have dreamt of when I thought of a vacation in the Seychelles.
Two points we did not like very much:

Great place, bad management & maintenance

It is a nice hotel, or maybe was.
The location is great, wonderful snorkeling and view, spacious hotel, but the service was very slow, the room was falling apart, the air con wasn't cool no matter how much we complained.
Another problem was that the shower was in the room, with just a curtain to cover.   Read more »

Perhaps the hotel could have put more effort into the entertainment - it was pretty poor.
Service was good, food very good, staff very friendly.
