The hotel was average. The staff in the bar & restaurant were great. The reception staff could have been more friendly & sympathetic to our needs. The first room we had (438) was very old & tired, but after complaining about the barking dog that kept us awake for 5 days, we were eventually moved to a better room (513). This was a newly furnished room the only downside was the sewage smell.The beach towels were not changed all the time we were there. I had asked for them to be changed, but they took them & returned them the next day & they were the same towels!The food was below average most days and if you came late to dinner (after 8pm) most things had run out! A perfect example was the day steak was on the menu, by 8.30pm they were serving burgers as they had run out!!!I also have discovered since being back in Dubai, that 500dhms (137USD) was taken from my purse which is shocking as this just does not happen here in Dubai. My purse was usually in the safe, but 1 day it was left out......shocking!The catamaran trip that the holiday representative organized was fantastic, and would recommend it.This hotel is clearly aimed at the French, as they were ALWAYS served before us, be it at the bar, restaurant or reception, which was very rude.

The hotel is clean, nice and neat. Very friendly staff. Sporting facilities but (table tennis and dart play) were not in a good shape.

Small hotel which is sold as 2 stars but offers great service that you would expect it to be at least 3 stars.There is a small little beach just across the road with the most stunning view on the Indian Ocean and the island Coin de Mire. Really wonderful.There is a kettle in the room to make your own coffee/tea. There is a small gym. Two pools…Just a really cozy hotel where you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
