Lovely honeymoon location

We had a great time spending our honeymoon at Le Canonnier Hotel. We chose to have a simple room at a good hotel rather then having a suite at a cheaper one. Although the room was quite simple we really enjoyed the luxorious feel of the hotel.

Great place for care-free family vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay at le Canonnier! From our arrival 'til our departure, all were truly caring and friendly, with much attention to all the little details that made our stay memorable. Excellent hotel

Title tells it all, almost everything was excellent. If I had to say something bad, it would have been the beach which is not so good for children (lava stones around). But with Mon Choisy public beach with walking distance that's not really an issue.

Going the exta mile

We just love Le Canonnier. The location is great allowing you to enjoy sunsets and sunrises, and shelter from the wind. Fabulous snorkeling. The Christmas Eve dinner was incredible, the atmosphere outstanding and then they also gave each family a gift as well as Christmas gifts for the kids!

Ideal for families

Left with a bitter taste

We spent 7 nights at the Canonnier, fantastic buffets, great facilities, kids club was excellent family apartments were satisfactory. On check out had a bad experience with a contracted taxi who didn't want to take us to Grand Bay because we had too many suitcases. Management wasn't helpful at all. It was like after we had paid the bill it wasn't their responsibility...

Wonderfull !!

Was there in May 2008 - the hotel was redone in 2007. Everything of the hotel and the GO's are great, food, sports, kids catering etc. We took the all inclusive package. Fantastic!!

We stayed at Le Cannonier Hotel at the end of February and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is very nice and the staff can't do enough for you. The hotel grounds, restaurants and bars are all well maintained, clean and in immaculate condition. The beach is beautiful.
