Shambolic booking process

Hotel fine, but they had no idea I was coming despite having booked this through Visit Nottingham website and having a print out in my hand saying that my stay was confirmed. Several subsequent phone calls required to sort out payment etc. Read more »

I stayed here just one night thankfully that was all.
The hotel is tired and outdated, the room was very small and cramped, food wasn't very good although in fairness the staff were very helpful.

The receptionist who greeted us was far from warm and welcoming everything that needed to be was asked, but in a robot fashion, there was no attempt to build any sort of rapport with us.

Half-decent hotel; cheap price

I was staying just one night for a big night out with the lads. I travel a lot (business & pleasure) and whilst I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anything but the cheapest business purposes, it was perfect for my requirements: cheap place to sleep.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was adequate (though could have been a little cleaner).

The above hotel is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Environmental health would close the kitchen! I have taken up my issues with the hotel direct, there were 5+ issues that were completely unacceptable and they have refunded 50% of my rate. Read more »

We stayed in July 2009 for my daughter's graduation. We had two rooms, both nice and clean. This July(2010) couldn't have been more different. Both rooms were dated and tatty, bathroom wasn't clean and the breakfast wasn't as good as last year. Won't be staying again. Read more »
