The first impression of the hotel is misleading. The entrance is in an old and small building, but once you are checked in (friendly staff) and managed to operate the elevator (you have to swipe your room key, which can be tricky), the opposite door opens on the requested floor and you are in a new building. I stayed at the Ibis Hotel in March 2008. I found the hotel to be clean and very comfortable the staff where very pleasant and helpful. The location was great and I would stay there again just wished they did a full English breakfast. Read more »

The Nottingham Ibis is a new build hotel in the heart of Nottingham's Lace Market District. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff are really friendly. The rooms are simply decorated, have a nice compact bathroom and internet access through the flat screen TV.

Superb hotel

Great location right in the heart of the action. Although no parking available it's on the tram route with a stop outside the actual hotel.
Although right in the city centre the prices are very reasonable and the hotel itself was very modern and funky.The staff were very friendly too!

- The check in was efficient and the staff friendly
- The room was clean and plainly decorated
- The aircon didn't work in a number of colleagues rooms - and it was warm
