Mauritius Honeymoon Package
4 on 5
This hotel has one of the most beautiful location in Mauritius and is located on a beautiful beach. There are plenty of shady spots, lounge chairs and hammocks to read and relax. The food is excellent, particularly the beachside buffet dinner barbecues. I have stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and 7 days. It was my honeymoon tour.

A beautiful hotel/resort with all rooms spread out over a magnificent garden.
Rooms are spacious, food is delicious and staff is very kind and helpful.
Every evening there is quality and tastefull entertainment in the pool bar. Not for the club crowd but stylish and of high quality.
Definately a should-visit for those looking to relax and rest. ...

Our stay at Moevenpick was great, due to the location, wonderful pool area and us having had time to relax with our children.
Unfortunately it was clouded due to theft (clothing from our beach chairs), as well as from our patio (costumes and snorkeling equipment).
We also had to report a malfunctioning DVD player 4 times, and this was only repaired ...

Before selecting the resort I went through a lot of reviews and even asked a few people through email. Two resorts were running neck to neck, and I chose Mövenpick Resort & Spa Mauritius. The resort was located in the south-west coast in Bel Ombre. It took almost 2 hours to reach there in the minibus.
The hotel staff warmly welcomed us. They took all the ...

Nice place, shame about the food
4 on 5
We waited an hour for our bags to be delivered to our room. Room was very nice although housekeeping again was patchy. Sometimes no towels were left, no supplies were replaced (e.g. Soap) and of the seven nights we stayed, the room was only turned down twice at night. Worst part of the hotel was the food at dinner which we found mostly inedible. Many nights all ...   Read more »

Fantastic!!

We were at Sugar Beach resort 10 years ago which is a 5 stars plus hotel, so I had quite high expectations of Movenpick. After reading a review from a previous customer complaining about maintenance, plumbing, aircon, tennis courts etc. I was a little bit scared of what I will find at Movenpick.
All I can say is that we were blown away with Movenpick! This ...

My family and I recently visited this hotel staying in villa 2 for 14 nights. Proper arrangements via e mail were made for specific demands eg… proper pillows, enough hangers etc. These were acknowledged and confirmed by blue, the sales and marketing manager.
Upon our arrival, we checked in at the "villa" accompanied by two managers who seemed pre occupied ...

Beautiful hotel in gorgeous location. Has its own private beach. The main restaurant is Le Moulin with a seriously fantastic buffet every night, usually themed, eg Italian, Indian, Fish. Look out for the amazing central table/buffet decoration. There are other restaurants of course- an a la carte, plus poolside restaurants. There is free evening entertainment ...   Read more »

Right place for holidays if you come with family and small children. Relaxing atmosphere, comfort stay, aesthetic gardens and beaches at the hotel. Near, in the South of the Island - some interesting places to visit ( Chamarel 7 Earths & Waterfalls, Black River Gorges Seven Waterfalls, Vanilla Reserve Crocodile Farm). Minus - shallow water on the beach.   Read more »
