Overall Sands Resort is a lovely hotel that is well kept and looks after you well from iced drinks given out to all at certain times of the day to friendly service! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Sands Resort. There were numerous water sports on offer together with a variety of activities you could join in such as aqua aerobics, local jogs…etc. The facilities were great and the gym had very modern equipment. We got married at the Sands Resort and Spa in September. The wedding coordinator Mrs. Deepsheeka was fantastic and her attention to detail was amazing. From other reviews we were concerned that items such as flowers would be expensive and to our relief, everything was very well priced.

All facilities, restaurants, activities... etc are of a high standard.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. The place looked exactly like the photos and everything was done to perfection. We had a really friendly greeting from reception and a bottle of bubbly on ice in our room because we were on honeymoon.

Large room very comfortable. We've appreciated the 2 communicating rooms. Nice pool but small and shallow, 1.20 meter is not enough for adults, it is odd for such an hotel which is mainly for honey moon stays and couples without child, anyway the view from the pool is stunning.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location, staff very helpful and food great. there is plenty to do in maurtitius and lots to see. the sea is wonderful; went horse riding and cycling. hotel has a spa and lovely swimming pool.

The appearance of the hotel on the web seems nice, but different when you go there. service is not good and same food served. There was even a cat who visited us in the restaurant while we were having dinner!!!!!Only satisfaction was that it was located far from the rush of the city and was in peaceful area.Definitely not value for money given the level of service. ... We arrived at the resort after a terrible year. We were searching only for relax. We found the atmosphere very friendly and positive.
