- Great place for holiday

Our holiday was very good, and we will be back. Everything was working OK, weather was very good and hotel was excellent.

- Wonderful place...

We have chosen this hotel after reading through a lot of reviews and we can confirm that this one was perfectly suited for a family holiday of two seniors and two adult "kids". The accommodation in a villa was perfect for privacy, tranquility and plenty of space.
The food was excellent, every evening a different buffet. Opportunity to taste all kinds of food makes of a holiday an amazing experience. And absolutely no digestion problems :-) All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed live music during the dinner.
The hotel is in a very small and quiet village so we hired a car and went to other places and beaches on the island. The beach near the hotel is not the most beautiful and in the evening it smelled like fish but for a short swim in the evening both the beach and the pool were fine.
If you are not looking for luxurious accommodation with fresh flowers in your bedroom every day, this place is a fantastic value for money and you can feel really comfortable here.

- Nice overall, crummy wireless

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were traveling with a 5 old mo and the staff was very helpful. We stayed in the villa, so we had a 2 bedroom house to ourselves. Very nice. The only concerns were that we didn't have a microwave to heat up dishes for the baby, the baby pool was never cleaned so we didn't get to use that and the wireless was terrible!! Couldn't get a signal even in the "library" right next to their computers. A real bummer since we hadn't been able to skype with family for a few weeks and there wasn't an open internet cafe nearby. But food, room, beach, other facilities, were really nice.

Would stay here again.

thanks for your comment it help us to improve our service for the best. we decide to change the booster for wireless with our IT manager we should have wi-fi in the all hotel but it's not working every day with the actuel material. for the microwave we decide not to put in the villa cause we right in the middle of Tamarin village with little chinese supermarket and people was buying food to cook in the room...but we help family to warm up baby food in the mane kitchen as we do for you I'm sure. happy that you enjoy your stay and the team of Tamarin Hotel.hope to see you again.

The hotel was OKish, but for other reasons, I had to go up to a hotel in the north a few days early. Despite having paid for the full amount of time (plus all meals) which I would now not be having, they still charged me for 2 cokes and one measly lunch.

you booked a double room at Tamarin hotel with ocean island tours with a special rate of 3000Rs/day for 2 on half board who mean breakfast and diner but not drinks and lunch. after 2 days you decide to join friends in the north and leave the hotel. the policy is to keep the all payment cause at the last mn we can't sale your room again. we so sorry you didn't spend time enough with us to appreciate the Tamarin Hotel. regards, cyril
