"Beautiful hotel but some weakness to consider"
The hotel is very beautiful with a charming tropical atmosphere, in a very nice garden, buildings (reception, bungalows, restaurant and bar on the pool) are very nice and rooms are big. The beach is not so big but nice even if there are too much boats in front of it and sea it is not good to have a bath. The location is not so good, the hotel is a little bit isolated, no restaurants or shops to reach by foot, even if you can take the bus in front of the hotel. For this reason, it is not so quite, buses begin to go very early in the morning. I can recommend only considering also weaknesses; anyway price is good for the hotel.
Breakfast is very good, not dinner, there is in not variety of food, you can find local food or particular dishes (Chinese buffet, Mauritian buffet) not together with international dishes, so you have very little choice.
The Pros
atmosphere, tropical ambiance with very beautiful bungalows, restaurant over the swimming pool, activities free of charge (glass bottom boat, pedalo), well served by bus
The Cons
Dinner: food not so good and no variety of international dishes, (for example: in the same evening, you have meat and fish cooked only in one way, Chinese, Mauritians, spicy etc, if you don't like kind of cooking), you couldn't have other possibilities) - for instance Chinese buffet was terrible even for who likes Chinese dishes-
Sometimes was very difficult to find something for our child to eat -
Need also international food or different way of cooking (for ex. add every evening grilled meat and fish) - hotel is located on a noisy street, you can hear buses passing form very early in the morning - sea in front of the hotel not so good for bathing
