"Lovely resort but construciton is slow"

We loved this hotel, with your own little 2 story villa and breakfast brought to your balcony every morning. Food is excellent quality too. The decor and design is very comfortable and relaxing, we enjoyed staying at the villa relaxing instead of going out some nights. However, the construction was supposed to be completed by the date we arrive and looked to be 6 months behind schedule. This construction is for the swimming pool and 2 restaurants, so when we arrived there was a crane and ugly construction out front, not appealing to arrive to. I think Ocean Island (our travel agency) could have told us this, or the hotel could have update their website, as we might not have stayed there if we had known about the construction delay.
