Great spot
Great views and great staff situated in a relaxed and rustic country
Awesome venue
Great spot and great staff situated in a relaxed and rustic country
Excellent location
We booked the hotel on the H10 website and got a very good rate. Euro 130 per night for 3 people (us with our 3 year old son) without breakfast. Arrived at the hotel, we were offered breakfast for Euro 8 per person which was also a really good price and the breakfast was excellent! The best thing of this hotel is it's location. Catalunya Plaza is very central at the beginning of the famous Ramblas. Shops and restaurants are at walking distance. The beginning and end point of the bus touristic is also at Catalunya Plaza as well as a metro station. With a two day ticket for Euro 26 you can discover most of the city very conveniently by bus touristic which I can highly recommend. The hotel in itself is nicely redone. The rooms clean. The only down side was that their triple rooms don't have a double bed. Instead they are twin rooms with a pull out couch. We parked our rented car in the parking garage on Catalunya Plaza and got a special rate because we were staying at the hotel. Next door to the hotel is a nice place for breakfast, tapas or a meal. To be recommended as well. Overall definitely a great stay. When going to Barcelona again, I wouldn't hesitate staying here again
Brand new complex
A small brand new complex, right on Mon Choisy beach. The units are very modern with two air conditioned, en-suite bathrooms. 3 plasma screens (dstv available). Kitchen is very well equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer, ice maker, toaster, kettle etc.One bathroom has a bathtub and a shower. The other bathroom just the shower. The wooden deck around the pool with the long chairs and umbrellas gives the complex a classy touch! Ah and a gas barbecue on every terrace. Just perfect to enjoy the great weather all year round.A small supermarket, the bank and a few restaurants are nearby. Also a bus stop where you can take a bus to Grand Bay. Great for families but also if you just want to enjoy a luxurious holiday without the hectic of regular meal times in a hotel.
One of the best beaches of Mauritius
Our board meeting was held this time at the Sugar Beach. The hotel is closing down soon for renovation and will be re-opened before the end of the year. It surely will be stunning. The hotel is located on one of the best beaches of Mauritius and is very extended. The food was very very good and although the room was a bit tired and the bathroom desperately needs that refurbishing, it was still all kept rather well.
Weekend in Maastricht
Crowne Plaza seemed to be a good choice for a weekend in Maastricht since the hotel is very close to the center with lots of restaurants, bars and shops and for all the sightseeing. The hotel is ok: very friendly staff and excellent breakfast with view over the river. The rooms are rather small however and the bathroom doesn't have the comfort that you would expect (a shower curtain over the bath tub...!!)Next time, I would try to find something in the center itself but it was only a 5 minute walk.Maastricht is great.
Stay always!
I always stay here whilst travelling to Johannesburg because it is a very friendly and centrally located guest house with lots of charm and rooms. It is only five minutes from the airport and provides a good breakfast. The owner Athol will also arrange a pickup from the airport if required. Highly recommended!
A home away from home
On Victoria Island, this little business hotel looks after its guests like its own family. They serve great food, specially the Mexican evening on Wednesdays and you get to meet many different travellers there. Greg, the owner, has many stories to tell you if you get bored. Rooms are luxurious for Nigerian standards and the hotel is fairly centrally located. Although travelling in Nigeria is an absolute nightmare.
Business Trip
I have stayed here before and have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful and is close to Paddington Station and the Underground. This allows you to travel anywhere in London very quickly. Regents Park is around the corner and so is Oxford Street. Rooms are small like any room in London but are sufficient.Breakfast is good.
World Cup Rugby
We stayed here whilst the Rugby World Cup 2007 was taking place in Paris. The hotel was very clean. Staff were welcoming and the rooms were adequate in size and furnishings. Breakfast was very French so the bacon and eggs was to be avoided. It was also not in the center of Paris but it would take you around half an hour by train. Not really good location.
