Exquisite

Yes, an exquisite place just two blocks away from Time Square. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast was amazing, I believe this was the highlight of the stay really.

I noticed the concierge staff were not as friendly as the rest though, and as usual, Sofitel can be seen as pricey!

Perfect for the weekend

We spent a weekend in Le Havre as our family was in a cruise in the Med and this was a stop for them. We picked the hotel as it was nearby the harbor but it is true it’s also very close to the city center and the train station. It is easy to access and to park; it seemed quite popular with young rich crowds and footballers.

Great location, not so great a hotel!

We picked that hotel because it was greatly located of the beach of St Malo! Its comfort was just OK, I remember the breakfast was good though... still worth recommending - value for the money and location.

Not too bad, just very busy!

Actually, I should start with the beginning, this hotel has been rebranded to Novotel St Pancras, its still on Euston Rd but since the local St Pancras station is taking over as the home of Eurostar in London, I guess it makes more sense.

Its a Novotel so very business orientated and am used to seeing quality there, but this one is certainly the biggest and busiest I have been to. As a result, there is a lot of staff and the level of service is not as good as in the other ones like Novotel City South which is a bit friendlier.

Apart from that, this is a hotspot, you are not far from Piccadilly, the British Museum, the train stations,...

They just introduced an MP3 player/iPod cable to your stereo TV, this is great if you travel with your music like me.

The food this time was really bad, I had a Scottish beef burger that looked like a brick, did not eat it! Salad was not fresh either. I have to say last time it was much much better, new chef? Possibly!

If you are not too bothered with the service and the food, I guess I could recommend it

Very calm

We stopped there once on the way back to Paris from the Alps and it was nice and very calm indeed.

There is a swimming pool with sun beds which was pleasant and we could get into the garden directly from the ground floor bedroom.

The only issue was the food, really bad quality, I could not eat the grilled tuna they served.

Fun fun fun

This is a nice white hotel right on the Ocean front, and in the heart of the fun city that Venice Beach is.

Very comfortable, maybe the bathroom was just a bit small.

Great view of the beach and the Pacific ocean obviously.

Stylish hotel for a stylish city

I stayed there on business but there were also loads of week-enders as there is a special offer on at the Novotel hotels I think. This one is brand new, well located, you could walk into town without any problem. As a result, its well equipped, there is a swimming pool visible via glass windows from the restaurant somehow.

Bedroom, service and bar very comfy. Buffet brekfast at Novotel standard thats to say very good!

I loved it

Brussels is a great week-end city I think and each time we go, we are spoilt for the choice of hotels, we tried the Stanhope which is a business hotel mainly I believe but this was so comfortable. Each bedroom is designed in a different way, its like a big house really. The lift was very cool with bookshelves simili.

Service was excellent and breakfast very tasty!

Cosy

We stayed in this BnB as we were guests to a wedding on a beautiful island off the west coast of Scotland, the Isle of Arran.

It is comfy and very cosy, I would say the only drawback is that the bedroom is a little small, but thats only a BnB really.

Breakfast was prepared on demand and very tasty.

Shame the weather was not nice...

Exquisite

I always liked that modern style at the Radisson hotels, so we decided to step by on the way back from Méribel and stay for a week-end in Aix-les-Bains.

The bedroom was great but it was really sunny so we spent a lot of time on the solarium, you can also get to the jacuzzi, sauna, and hammam from there.

We did not have dinner there as there are plenty of good restaurants nearby - I recommend Le Campanus - but breakfast is buffet and delicious; wifi is available for free in the lobby.
