Visa: You do not need a tourist visa if you are a citizen of an EU country or Asia, North & South America, the Caribbean, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Andorra or Liechtenstein. However, all citizens of countries NOT listed above are required to obtain a travel visa from the appropriate Peruvian consulate before traveling to Peru. Business or student visas are required.
Medical recommendations: No inoculations are required for Peru. However, it is recommended to have immunization against Typhoid, Polio, Tetanus, Hepatitis A. If you are traveling to jungle regions, you will be asked to show your yellow fever vaccination certificate. Malaria tablets are optional but recommended in the jungle.
